Official Presentation of World Skate Games Italia 2024 in Novara

Official Presentation of the World Skate Games ITALIA 2024 in the italian city of Novara Piemonte, the venue of the Rink Hockey World Championships from the 7th to 22nd of September. Together with the president of World Skate and FISR Sabatino Aracu, the Minister of Sport and Youth Andrea Abodi, the sports councilor of the “Piemonte” Region Marina Chiarelli and the sports councilor of the Municipality of Novara, Ivan De Grandis.
“We live projected into the future and thanks to young people. This event represents this in the best possible way. When you celebrate 100 years of history, as is the case for the World Federation and for Rink Hockey here in Novara,’ says Minister Abodi, ‘when you talk about numbers such as more than 100 participating countries, 12 disciplines, 4 regions involved, 12,000 athletes, 600 competitions, as is the case for the World Skate Games 2024, it is clear that a huge challenge is launched. A challenge that, thanks to the organisational capacity of the World Skate and Italian federation FISR and the local organisational machine, will be taken up in the best possible way, for an event of extraordinary scope.”
The occasion of the official presentation was also for the official group draw which revealed the fate of the 66 teams who will play in the seven World Championships divided into the four rinks of the city.
