Spain also wins the Men World Championship. Argentina beaten 2-1, Italy third.

After 7 years, Spain returns to the throne of the World after conquering the European Championship. A final built in the first half with the result of 2-0 (goals from Carballeira and Bargallò) which then transformed into 2-1 which managed to maintain for the rest of the match, despite Argentina’s great attackers. A test of character of extreme value that allowed us to win the 18th title in history in the 46 editions. With this result they make three world titles, Under 19, Men and Women.

Italy earned the bronze medal 21 years after the last medal in 2003. However, Portugal had not left the podium for 17 years. A great match for the “Azzurri” with goals from Gavioli (2) and Faccin deciding the match, together with saves from Zampoli. France ranks fifth, Angola sixth, Switzerland seventh and Andorra eighth. The Intercontinental Championship was won by Chile with Great Britain in second place and Colombia third. The markets lost by Intercontinental are Africa and Oceania, while Europe and America gain a position.
