The “big four” are once again confirmed among the elite of the world Olympus, confirming the good things seen during the three days of qualifying. Argentina-Portugal (18:30) and Spain-Italy (21:00) will be the two semi-finals that will decide the two finalists who will compete for the title. Spain and Portugal easily passed their quarter-final with a clear result of 13-0 for the former and 15-2 for the second. In these two clashes with many goals, there were three scores by Nadal and Ortigosa on the Spanish side and Oliviera, Caetano and Lemos on the Portuguese side. The other two matches for the quarter-finals were totally different: Argentina won only in the second half, after having been behind 3-1 and recovering the result to 3-3 and with Lopez’s winning goal. The match between Italy and Chile was very different, a continuous back and forth, resolved in the second half by two goals from Tomba, after the sparkling 4-4 in the first half.
Last qualifying match in the Under 19 Intercontinental. Group A was won by Germany who beat Great Britain 13-2, while Group B was won by Andorra, winning 7-4 against India. The U.S.A. they win 15-2 against Macau and Chinese Taipei 3-2 against Mexico. The finals from 5th to 10th place will be played tomorrow: 10.00am China-New Zealand, 12.30pm Macao-Mexico and 4.30pm USA. against Chinese-Taipei. Saturday the finals for the podium: at 09:00 Great Britain against India and at 11:30 Germany-Andorra
